Dear www.bandwave.com, couple of things re the site - your gig guide, I see it is in American (the date structure)- this may confuse a few. SW
Wellington, New Zealand Dear SW, Thanks for your comments. We are doing a lot of development on the site and getting a lot of material coming through from you guys out there so we have
had to put priorities on what order we develop things in. We are currently focusing on getting the bands and CD's for sale listed that have come into us. As soon as we are up to date we will
revamp the whole gig-guide thing.
Dear www.bandwave.com
,We (have a mobile disco and) are interested in being on your web site. (are you interested in having us) S&P Christchurch, New Zealand Dear S&P. Our main aim with
bandwave.com is to help develop New Zealand musicians professionally and musically. A big part of that is helping them promote themselves. This is why we have the hire-a-band section of the site
and do free listings for the bands. We are promoting the site to function organisers as the place to find details on good acts. Some of those function organisers will want mobile discos and all
sorts of other peripheral services. As such we are happy to have you advertising on the site like any other business at our standard advertising rates. We need the commercial support of
businesses like yours so we can keep the musicians listings free.
Dear www.bandwave.com
,Thanks very much for including my CD … and our group … on your pages. Fantastic. For some reason though I can't get into the (band) details on the Gig Guide. Is there a reason for this. LC
Wanuiomata, New Zealand DearLC, Sorry about that, we have had a few problems trying to keep up with everything people are sending in and have slowed down on maintaining the gig-guide
at the moment. We are focusing on getting CD's up for you guys and your bands listed as well as increasing the content of the workshop. As soon as we are on top of it we will get the gig-guide
looking good.

Dear www.bandwave.com
,… unfortunately I do not do much band work these days as a couple of acts I did help out … never paid us, at the time we
only looked to recover a portion of studio costs to cover wages of the engineer, power and a bit for equipment depreciation, we… don't … wish to pursue this as a possible income in the future and
we will stick to corporate. … best of luck … Recording Studio Auckland, New Zealand Dear Recording Studio, Thanks for the feedback. Know how you feel. I've been ripped off by some
low life as well. bandwave.com is committed to helping New Zealand musicians develop professionally. Hopefully that will include people seeing some collective responsibility for the
professionalism in the industry. ********** Dear
www.bandwave.com,… (our music school) offers teaching in groups for babies through to adults. While we
use a wide variety of repertoires, we have a particular interest in west European art music (sometimes called "classical"). ..(the www.bandwave.com
) home page looks interesting, but seems geared towards a particular style. Are you intending to set up subgroups … ? EC Auckland, New ZealandDear EC, Thanks for your input.
There are many many different styles of music. We do not take a stand on any style being better or worse than any other. In the early days of the site we will focus on what we believe has widest
appeal but are happy to add any material people send us that is in keeping with the quality of the site and our philosophy of helping New Zealand musicians develop musically and professionally.
You send it in, we will put it up. ********** Dear www.bandwave.com
