I loved Blood Sugar Sex magic, but in my opinion this album is better, and to be honest, I think this is the greatest album ever created.
It's so goddam good, and I really can't believe that there actually is some people who does not like this music. the best songs are Otherside, Scar Tissue, parallell universe, californication,
road trippin, This velvet glove, easily and get on top. BUY THIS CD NOOOW!!!!!

Captain Beefheart
"the dust blows forward"
I'm not the familar with most of Captain Beefheart's work, except for his early 1980's records and the notorious Trout Mask Replica (which always gave me a headache). What amazes me about this
collection is that it shows what a great blues singer he was! If you really strip down most of his music, you have essentially classic blues songs with surrealistic lyrics. His music is not easy
to listen to, but if you like Dylan, Beck, or Elvis Costello's lyrics and word play, you'll enjoy this collection.
