Scrapple is a casual Wellington, New Zealand, band. We play relaxed jazz and blues, comprising standards and contemporary material. We also play a few original songs written by Mike Dee. Formed comparatively recently, the band has contributed to fundraising concerts at Acoustic Routes, in Wadestown and Lower Hutt, as well as a raging house party, the Thorndon Street Fair 1997 and the 1998 Queen Margaret Fair. We are available to play for any good cause, private functions, busking, outdoor days or anything that requires a fun, relaxed sound. We can be "wallpaper" (as we were at a recent opening at the National Library), you can dance, or you can just sit and enjoy.
